Missing the warmth of Pagudpud

Aside from being a night person, I am also a rain person. I love the rain and the pleasantly chilly ambiance which are perfect for cuddling on the couch while watching a movie and sipping hot coco. But when I have a cold like today, I miss the warm rays of the cheerful sun touching my skin making me long for a beach break. At times like this I am reminded of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.

Baungi Windmills in Ilocos Norte

The NorthWind Bangui Bay Project, or simply the Bangui WIndmills, supply 40 percent of the power requirements of Ilocos Norte. Inaugurates in 2005, the 15 windmills towering 50 meters high was made to address the poor supply of electricity in the province.
 
These giant electric fans face the South China sea from where the wind blows. It is located in Bangui, Ilocos Norte which is about one hour and a half from Laoag City.
