Dubbed as one of the most colorful festival in the Philippines, the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon where the townspeople decorate their houses with farm produce, commercial products and kiping best shows the creativity of Filipinos.
The NorthWind Bangui Bay Project, or simply the Bangui WIndmills, supply 40 percent of the power requirements of Ilocos Norte. Inaugurates in 2005, the 15 windmills towering 50 meters high was made to address the poor supply of electricity in the province.
These giant electric fans face the South China sea from where the wind blows. It is located in Bangui, Ilocos Norte which is about one hour and a half from Laoag City.
